The school adopts project-based learning pedagogy. Content of the projects is developed according to children’s interest, allowing them to explore through different methods such as discussion, interviews, observation, experiment, and finding evidence to stimulate children’s learning motivation, creative thinking, problem solving, and interpersonal cooperation.
The school values the language development of children, encourages and respects children to understand things from different perspectives and through different methods, as well as uses images or words to record and express abstract concepts concretely. Children are encouraged to express opinions and communicate with each other throughout the learning process. The school continues to add books and launches different types of language activities to cultivate children’s interest in and habit of reading. The school has a systematic life education curriculum, which uses picture books as an introduction for children to experience the feelings of the books’ characters, thus cultivating children’s abilities to love themselves, love people, and love things. The school attaches importance to Christianity education. We hold morning assemblies and pray with children, which promote children’s physical, mental, and spiritual health.
The school uses photos, observational analysis, and comprehensive reports to demonstrate the learning outcomes of children, as well as systematically collects children’s works to record their developmental journeys. Parents can understand the growth of their children through the “Children Developmental Journeys Portfolio”, helping children to achieve all-round development.
